The "Mole sul Farfa" is an ecologically sensitive farm that unites ancient local agricultural tradition with modern organic farming techniques. Here we try to harmonize quality of life with respect for the environment. The farm is conveniently located just one hour from Rome, nested in an environment of great natural and historical charme. Here the river Farfa has shaped a surprisingly wild landscape, made more precious by the patient work of the many generations that have enriched the area with tesitimonies of their lives and actvities. The Regione Lazio has recognized the archeological and naturalistic value of the region and created the preserve Monumento Naturale Gole del Farfa. Because of its considerable natural interest the European Union has declared part of the territory of the farm a Zona di Protezione Speciale (Species Protection Area).
